Abstract

The advancement of science and technology is progressing rapidly, compelling individuals, including educators, to adapt to it. Educators must understand how to utilize available technology for smooth learning processes. In Law No. 20 of 2003 regarding National Education, it is stated that national education functions to develop capabilities, shape the character and dignity of the nation, and enlighten the life of the nation. It also aims to unleash the potential of learners to become faithful, pious individuals, with noble character, creativity, independence, and to be democratic and responsible citizens. Learning technology designed to assist in solving learning problems is seen as an alternative that can significantly contribute to improving the quality of education. Various forms of learning experiences, whether achievable in the classroom or beyond, and the messages conveyed through learning, need to be packaged by adhering to the principles of learning technology in various methods and learning media. This ranges from conventional methods to computer-based multimedia learning, including e-learning, e-library, e-education, e-mail, e-laboratory, and e-books. Through the utilization of learning technology, it is expected that learning messages can be systematically packaged both in physical and virtual forms, no longer constrained by spatial or temporal dimensions. This allows for better acceptance by learners, making learning enjoyable (joyful-learning), flexible in terms of time and space dimensions, and fostering the individual development of learners
