Abstract

This research aims to find the relationship between the phenomenon that is currently occurring based on the condition that students' enthusiasm for learning has decreased, there are still many students' poor ethics towards friends and teachers and their discipline in participating in learning activities has decreased. This research uses qualitative educational methods with a grounded theory design. The interviewees were the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum and Teachers of SMP Plus Al Anwariyah Tegalgubug Lor, Cirebon Regency. they are observing management activities/processes at SMP Plus Al Anwariyah and documenting information related to data reduction strategies, data presentation (data display) and verification data analysis using triangulation, namely interviews, observation and documentation with SMP Plus Al Anwariyah. The research results can be explained as follows: Educational management to develop the religious character of students at SMP Plus Al Anwariyah Tegalgubug Lor Arjawinangun Cirebon has been carried out well, this can be seen from the planning showing that the institution has prepared plans for student habituation activities, carried out arrangements for student habituation activities, implemented student habituation activities by carrying out assessments of the achievements of students' character education activities. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that educational management to develop the religious character of students at SMP Plus Al Anwariyah Tegalgubug Lor Arjawinangun Cirebon has been carried out well, this can be seen from the research results obtained which show that the institution has carried out the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up processes
