DEVELOPMENT OF DESKTOP-BASED SPINNER GAME APPLICATION AS A MEDIUM FOR LEARNING MATHEMATICS MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH

Abstract

The use of information technology in developing learning media can encourage students' enthusiasm for learning because information technology is embedded in students' daily activities. The teaching and learning process so far still uses conventional learning media so students are less interested in participating in learning. This research aims to develop mathematics learning media at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level. The learning media developed is a desktop-based spinner game application. The application development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes the following stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The testing stage for the media application developed uses the Black Box Test method. A desktop-based spinner game application as a mathematics learning medium for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level students has been successfully designed and built using Visual Studio software with the Visual Basic .Net programming language. Based on black box testing of this application, the results have been obtained that every function in this application has run according to design.
