APPLICATION OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN LEARNING EVALUATION AT PESANTREN JAGAT 'ARSY

Abstract

This article aims to determine the development of rubrics in learning evaluation with the use of social media. This research takes a case study at the Pesantren Jagat Arsy World Civilization Boarding School which utilizes social media as a medium for reports or final assessment work media in learning. The method used in this study is a literature study where the author tries to find, compile and analyze various information through various related sources. In addition, researchers also use field research methodology where researchers directly plunge and conduct management and learning at Pesantren Jagat Arsy. The results of this study found that the learning evaluation rubric utilizing social media was quite effective and successfully applied at Jagat Arsy Islamic Boarding School. The evaluation approach is carried out using product, project and performance-based assessments, not only answering cognitive questions. The era of digitalization and advances in IT technology are important factors in supporting the development of IT-based evaluation at Pesantren Jagat Arsy.
