Program Practical Life dalam Menanamkan Kemandirian pada Anak Usia Dini

This research aims to describe the cultivation of practical life for the development of independence in children aged 4-5 years. Practical life is an activity that can help children develop motor skills, concentration, discipline and independence which can include daily activities. These activities include personal hygiene and dressing. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research subjects in this study were children aged 4-5 years at the Al Azhar Islamic Kindergarten, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The interview sources in this research were the school principal and teachers. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research show that practical life learning in instilling independence in children aged 4-5 years at the Al Azhar Islamic Kindergarten, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta has been carried out well using direct practice methods by providing examples gradually to the children.
