Abstract

Children are individuals who will continue human generations in the future. One thing that must be paid attention to is the development of gross motor skills. This research was conducted to provide an overview of traditional dances for early childhood, one of which is the tor-tor dance on gross motor development in early childhood. This research used descriptive qualitative. Data processing and collection is carried out through observation and documentation in the form of voice recordings and notes from interviews with the relevant sources. The research location is Jl. Wire 3, Tj. Mulia Hilir, Medan City, precisely at Ibnu Halim Kindergarten. There are many things we can develop for children, the better we train children, the better the results will be. By learning this dance art, children will be able to develop both physically and creatively.
